I have to dedicate this entry to Auggie :)

I was at the Texas Rangers baseball game on Wednesday night.  A terrible game in which the Rangers lost miserably, yet since I have never gone to a game to really get into the sport I guess it doesn't really matter.  It was truly a matter of going to enjoy friends company and the atmosphere of the ball park.  It was also dollar hot dog night.  Now this might not seem like much if you have never had the experience of friends who have a major addiction to hot dogs, however for those of us blessed to have friends with this unique and unusual addiction this brought back many fun memories.

Memories of camp fires, camping excursions, hot dog birthday cakes and late night cooking sessions, red dyed Filipino hot dogs that turn your hands red while peeling the individual wrappers so you can cook them, and many laughs and fun accompanied by meals consisting of hot dogs and rice. 

So if you have never truly appreciated the value of a hot dog.  Think of all the times you have enjoyed around this mystery meat product and smile. :)
